Another anime watched, another reviewed, keeping in the internet database that I once had leisure time and used it in one of my favorite hobbies, watching perfectly shaped girls that look underage and meet most of my dreams! Ahh, I love Japan. Still, although that’s true for most, this isn’t the occasion for the anime I’m about to talk about. We have Maria-Sama ga Miteru ~Haru~, which means “spring”, implying the second semester of the drama and passionate relationships between the Rosas, the Rosas en buttons, and the Petit sours of Lilian’s High School for Ladies.
Although this second season continues with the same studio and style of the first one, we can find some nice differences, starting from music, plot, and surprisingly, different animation. Genre stays the same, Romance, Drama, and Schools.
This well made anime from Studio Deen in 2004, consists of 13 24-minute episodes and we can easily separate it into 3 sub-stories, mentioned roughly after this period .
STORY:
Another semester, another saga of (mis) adventures with the members of the House of Rose. The same members are there. . .BUT! We have a little problem, to be exact, 2 of them: the introduction of a new character, Sachiko’s cousin, who seems to like Sachiko a lot, to the point of sprouting the seeds of envy in Yumi’s mind. And, the Rosas are about to continue their studies at College, and there are 3 vacant slots, who will occupy them? Quite intriguing, don’t you think?
GRAPHICS:
Graphics stay quite the same, but this time we can see more fluid animation at the moments of movement, running, breathing, crying. . . we’ll get to see these very often through the show.
SOUND & MUSIC:
Again, Pastel Pure gives us excellent music for Maria-Sama. Most of it are rehashes of old songs, or longer versions, or changed versions, and some are new. Great music, quite classy, like chamber music and instruments of such. Still, the girl singing the OP needs some singing lessons, she can’t sing squat! Get the OST if you have a family reunion, they will like it. (excepth that OP song)
OVERALL:
Again, if you like drama, good quality in animation, and some romance in the way, with some credible plot, Maria-Sama Ga Miteru ~Haru~ is your option.

8.5/10 Diamonds. Congratulations!

it’s the best for me..the story touch my heart especially between their sisterhood..
Indeed. I find it very charming for them to have a sisterhood so united, yet so fragile. I wonder if it really happens in any place in the real world. . .
