Kannazuki no Miko ep. 9 – To Hell

Comment now!

There’s a lot of stuff going around here! Chikane has gone Evil! Himeko has gone Emo! Oogami has gone Weak…er. And now there’s no one to prevent the Orochi from approaching Himeko and destroy all hope for humanity to subsist!

Chikane starts up going to the evil overworld where all the Orochi “live”, and to everyone’s surprise, she starts beating the hell from everyone, petrifying all of the Orochi, one by one, until just Tsubasa (Oogami’s evil brother) appears.

He has a Mecha fight with Chikane! He has a sword fight with Chikane, but in the end, he suicides. Why, you ask? He thinks of the suffering Chikane must overcoime because of her destiny as the Lunar Priestess, meaning that she can’t be with Himeko, even if she wants. Before falling into a bottomless abyss, he throws a sword that fliest all the way to the common world and stops in front of oogami, for him to use.
