This is Chikane’s episode; it’s like analyzing her point of view at life. She explains her upbringing, how she’s always the best at what she does, how her rivalry and competitive spirit have given her some things but at the cost some others.Chikane is trying to accept the truth: Himeko likes her, but as a friend, not as something more compromising. She acts like she’s all cool with that, and says no to her true feelings, which start to show in her daily actions.

Finally, while going home, she encounters a big church that wasn’t there the night before. A puzzxled and curious Chikane, makes her way inside. . .
