If I had the choice to select one anime series / OVA for it to be continued even 3 more episodes, I think Golden Boy would be on my Top 5. This is an awesome ecchi comedy anime that tells the story of a young man, who searches the wonders of the world along with his backpack and his beloved bicycle.
This awesome 6-episode OVA was made in the middle of the 90’s, 1995 to be exact, by the famous studio Shueisha and KSS. You can find it in the Americas thanks to ADV films because. . .you must watch this in English Dubbed dialogue. . .no, I’m not kidding. Avoid the Japanese language’d Golden Boy and watch it in English, you’ll know what I mean. . .
GENRE: Comedy and some spices of Ecchi. I was thinking Everyday Life, but this guy is insanely awesome to be real.
STORY:
Kintaro Oe is the name of our protagonist. He just finished university as a Lawyer and is riding throughout Japan in his bike, to learn from life the hard, natural way. To do this, he gets into part-time jobs, and that’s when the fun and wackiness starts. This guy loves girls, and can’t restrain himself from turning when he sees a nice body with dangerous curves come by. This will get him in a lot of trouble, but Kintaro always finds a way.
GRAPHICS:
Classical 90’s style. Well, more towards the 80’s if you ask me, the animation style and color brightness can be compared even to Otaku no Video as well as to the 1st generation of Neon Genesis Evangelion. Body proportions are normal for all characters, except Kintaro’s. When he turns into “ecchi mode”(C) or is surprised by something, his face turns wobbly, or may get a little tougher, ala Fist of the North Star. Designs for backgrounds are above average, with lotsa detail mainly in the greens section (trees, bushes, etc.).
SOUND & MUSIC:
Special effects are normally done and well timed, but I really can’t remember a characteristic tune or BGM or song for the series, just a song called “Study a-Go-Go” which takes Kentaro’s favorite phrase: “Life is Study”. Yeah. . .thought the same.
OVERALL:
An awesome gem of timeless comedy that takes a looooong time to wear off. Preferably watch with your friends to expand the laughing factor x5. Still, this show has a few shots for “+17″ so, if you’re OK with that, you’re good to go, it’s very worth it.

u go girlor something any ways
I concur with your review. I just finished watching this little gem and wow, what a ride!
Kintaro is the funniest idiot savant I’ve ever seen. The English voice cast definitely makes this one go far.
The art and story are a rousing success making this a front runner for an Anime cult favorite.
I highly recommend this one. A good call!
i want to see more pics of cartoon sex babes stripping off videos please if you can do that.
well,I think you could check episode 2 of this series, roxie, although Golden Boy doesn’t have much stripping.
