When Vincent wakes up he is greeted by Fuudy, an old man who’s apparently been taking care of him for over 10 days; Fuddy states that thanks to his medical attention Vincent survived a virus. It seems that infection kills most of those who end up in the outskirts of Romdeau.

Real inspected the autorave route and goes to share what she saw with Daedalus, who says he regrets Iggy being taken away from her. Real tells Daedalus that she found Proxy’s body and that she wants him to investigate further. They both go to where the body is and Daedalus lets out that he knew about the project but promises to help Real and keep it all a secret.

Vincent meets with other refugees and they seem to be a friendly bunch, all of them found the reality within Romdeau to be based on deception and decided to leave for good. One of these refugees is Queen, a middle-aged woman who lives by collecting scrap parts discarded from the city, she seems to be the most collected of the bunch and says she doesn’t plan to live of scraps forever. Just then a surveillance/maintenance robot comes about and Queen says that they should hide lest the robot finds them. Vincent runs to save Pino who was in the path of the robot, he takes it out with his gun but apparently the robots disregard autoraves. Oh, and this particular robot sent a video feed to Raul who now wants to send enforcers to the area to capture Vincent, how about that huh?
