At last! This episode brings us two great things, first we finally get to see an opening, its grungy and the music is mid tempo, nothing too interesting but its not radiohead! Also the name debate is over, in this episode we see a scene where Real’s name is spelled out she’s Real Mayar… I know, go figure!

The episode starts with Vincent riding on a subway having a flashback of his life outside Romdeau some sort of battle and a violent encounter; his phone rings, Real’s been calling him all day long. Since Vincent won’t answer her call Real heads out to the office where Iggy tells her that the database of the Intelligence bureau has been accessed by a high-level anonymous account lately.

Later Raul Creed (the man from the Security Bureau) and his autorave are speaking with Real’s grandpa’s… statues? Robots? Well we don’t yet know what those are, they speak about the proxy situation and how they should have already controlled it; the curious thing is they aren’t speaking to Raul, they’re speaking to his autorave, this is second time we’ve seen a human take the passive role and it seems quite fishy. To add to the mystery later in the episode we see the statues talking by themselves about real and how through their will she has become the more perceptive of all the numb-minded citizens.

Meanwhile Vincent tries to escape the city through one of its air vents and in the road he meets up with Pino, the babysitter autorave who was affected by the proxy on the mall incident. Pino asks some existential questions, showing she is infected with the cogito virus. Pino answers Vincent’s phone and so Real manages to discover his position. Later when Real finds Vincent they talk about the attack on her apartment by the monsters, just then the police arrive, Pino opens the Vent and her and Vincent escape.

When Vincent is outside of Romdeau he goes on about how he silenced his personality to become a good citizen. Then in a very symbolic scene he opens his eyes and the wind shakes up his clothes and hair giving him that air of mystery and coolness.
