Welcome to the Forth and another ‘just got this thing’ installment of ‘Figure Review from a Hikikomori’. This week I am reviewing Good Smile Company’s Arin figure. From what I can tell, this is the first available release of an Arin figure. Obviously not the only one that will show up.

Arin hails from the online Mass Multi-player Online RPG golf game ‘Pangya’. She is a magic using sort who fell in love with Max, who is another character in this golf game. Stat wise, she’s great for beginners, but her spin and curve are a bit low. She also bounces a lot.

This is another nice figure release from Good Smile Company. Their stuff is generally always of decent quality, and generally their prices are decent. Arin is a 1/8 scale, and cost 5048 yen (about $42 USD), which isn’t a bad price. Her club is easily enough put into her hand, and papel/item bag cat/sack-cat go nicely on the base along with Arin. She takes up roughly 4 inches horizontally because of her club, and about 7 inches vertically.

A closer look shows that there is a very nice level of detailing done up on Arin, such as her collar. The overall paint job is very well done, as is with most of this company’s releases. The club is very well detailed, as well as papel. The base is nice and simple and looks nice along with the figure. There are no joint connecting lines anywhere on the figure. Her face is also very nicely detailed. Papel is marked with the ntreev logo, just like he is in the game, and has his standard expression.

You can pick her up here as long as she’s in stock. Aoshima’s Arin has been pushed back from Dec. to March, so I ended up getting this release.
