I really wish I could have gone to comic-con, it sounds like it would have been fun (not as a press member, however). I pretty much didn’t like the fact that you guys were too afraid to RIP AND TEAR into everything, like “holy shit they are going to come onto our webpage and make a bad comment!” A lot of jumbled talk, maybe you need to take turns talking, or just give it a run through before you record; then again, other podcasts and such also seem to have a bad reputation for jumbled conversations… anyway, I really like the fact that the podcast focuses on major events as well as recent going-ons that every Otaku should know about.
I look forward to your next podcast, as well as DDN updates!
Hey I checked in here a few hours ago and it was some domain squatter like “Buy Diamonds Here!” I tried getting in from my bookmarks & from Google and it was the same thing. Good to see you’re back!
Everything is going JUST AS PLANNED
Awesome job guys! Glad to see the scheduled “as planned” podcast is up. I’m looking forward to listening to more of these in the future.
Track list and outline were wonderful addition to follow from the pilot. More than once I looked at the BGM list going “I know this song”. I like all the information in the news format and the topical patent info with the GC controllers. Great news on any articles that I’ve miss or ones that I’ve been meaning to follow. Also, interesting tidbits on some of the site info and what you guys have been up to.
The main issue you guys addressed which was Taco’s mic and getting him a new one. Although there was a part towards the end of the cast where I think Taco’s audio dropped and the crew didn’t realize he was still talking because everybody began talking over him. Quiche was much clearer with his audio/voice.
The only thing I can really recommend is to lower the audio track on the BGM. While I could make out everyone’s voice, if they began to quiet down, the music was the dominating force rather than subtle notes.
You guys rock. When is the next one. :)
