If that picture above seems oddly familiar its because it was featured in Django’s latest Cosplay update. She is 2k-tan and she’s the star of todays Tuesday-tan update.

2k-tan is, by far, the most popular of all the OS-tans. Representing Windows 2000, arguably one of Microsoft’s most reliable systems, she is the proverbial independent woman. Hardworking, dependable, efficient. This is reflected in her appearance, wearing glasses to depict intelligence and a maid hairclip to show her willingness to serve. Unlike other OS-tans she doesn’t have a logo on her hair but rather a couple of tech-looking cat ears. She’s often the moral center of all the OS-tans and being the opposite of Windows ME, Microsoft’s most unstable system, 2k-tan often treats ME-tan as a little sister under her protection.
