Oh man FFVIII is still my favorite of the series. Youre right in that its soundtrack is far from iconic but the story was one of the most cinematic, both in script and in execution. Plus the lead wasnt some blonde ladyboy… sure it was a brunette ladyboy but he at least had some guts not like the FF males thereafter.

Legendary Beast was from FFVIII… Oh well, its still a great song.
