Small Interview with Video game Pianist’s Sister, Lee Ann Leung

When I was at the San Diego ComicCon International 2006, I went over to the Tokyopop Booth and saw a 88-keyed Yamaha Keyboard. I thought “they may have had someone playing here before”, but i asked the lady there and told me a videogame pianist girl was going to play some time later, so I went to buy some stuff and returned at the right time. She was (To everyone’s surprise) the Sister of the called Videogame Pianist, giving us just a taste of what was to come from the show she was advertising and being part of: The VideoGamesLive show.
Interview after the Jump!
After her pretty good performance on some videogame tunes (and the much-obligued Super Mario Bros. Medley), I approached her with much caution and made her a mini interview, just for you guys’ and gals’ delight here at DDN:
Name: Lee Ann Leung
Place of Birth: Orange County, CA.
Her musical studies start from age 6, after some years she studied the Music Major at the UCI, where she has just finished as a pianist.
She’s currently being the pianist for the VideoGamesLive Orchestra, which repertorie stretches out from 80′s games up to the current generation.
She was so happy that a lot of people liked how she played and that her work was being recognized, and I’m sure I would too.
I was so delighted by her playing that I asked a nearby woman to take a photo of herself with me.
Well, I hope you liked this little interview of gargantuan musical value. See you next time!
