Retro Video – TMNT II -

Comment now!

Another new installment of Retro Video, this time on an awesome game for the NES: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II.

I think this is THE TMNT GAME since it got the excellent balance on enemies for beat-’em-ups, great music, above overall graphics, a wide selection of stages, and great controls. I’d put it a 10 in multiplayer NES games, really.

This game really brings back memories to me, since I went to play with a pretty fun neighbor almost everyday when I was a kid. We’d play SMB 3, some TMNT II and then watch some super cool 80’s cartoons most of us veterans still love and keep fond memories deep in our hearts.

This video features a Tool Assisted Speedrun by some guy named “Baxter”.

Great games that can never be completed without having a big chunky slice of Pizza by your side (you don’t have to EAT it if you don’t want to, it just completes the Ninja Turtle Experience).
