Today’s Retro Video is a very special one. It’s dedicated to one of the best puzzle video games so far. Obviously I’m talking about Alexei Pajitnov’s Tetris. Created in 1984, the computer game consists simply of making lines from figures based on 4 smaller squares, no more, no less, hence the name Tetris, from the Greek numerical prefix “Tetra-”.
This interesting video shows famous pop singer Utada Hikaru on a TV show. . . beating the crap out of every person that dares to challenge her. A must see, really.
Awesome, it’s like Britney Spears being a gamer. . . and with. . .you know. . .hair.

Mmm… Tetris. I think it’s the epitome of video games, and I hold it in very high regard.
I used to do that, until i got bored with memorizing how to counter all positions or shapes that come out during gameplay. Guess the modes from the DS Tetris are worthwhile for me. For now i will stick to Lumines in my mobilephone (Nokia 6131. Cheap, yet, with gif backgrounds xD)
awesome.
well, I’m not a harcore tetris/puzzle player, yet i found Meteos to be an awesome game. Wouldv’e liked the Studio to bring Lumines to the DS.
