This Week’s OMB is going straight for the stars! As an intro to The OMB’s new author (Yours Truly), I decided to choose some of my favorite Music Video’s from openings you may have never seen! This week we have Tommy February6 with Lonely in Gorgeous. The opening to Paradise Kiss. Although the video looks like a bunch of middle school kids got together to try and make a video for their class project, the obviously fake mustaches kill me.

Next we have Sambo Master with Sekai wa Sore Wo Ai To Yobundaze, well… not necessarily the band, but the guy who they put in the video looks eerily like the singer from the band. Actually made by the student movie production team “AT2″ but the thought of a guy walking around Tokyo with a guitar gives me a chuckle. The Real PV is the one on the bottom, for comparison. I know I’d love to have Japanese bands randomly appear wherever I’m listening to music.

We then have Waltz by Suneohair, which many of you will recognize as the ending to the first season to Honey and Clover. Don’t you hate it when you get hit by a beautiful girl and have to dig through hundreds of gorgeous babes to get back to the one who hit you?….yea me neither… Piano Version included for lulz, but not a bad rendition, if I do say so myself.

Finally we have what might be one of the most well known openings in Anime: Tank! by Yoko Kanno and The Seatbelts. the sounds a little low, so I’d advise to turn your speakers up for maximum rockage :).
