The classic JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure has gotten the wrong people angry at them, the Muslim community has gone up in arms on the Internet after someone pointed out that one of the villains was reading that looked like their Holy scripture, the Koran.

Viz Media’s parent company Shueisha, apologized profusely and told them it was all a misunderstanding, the animators didn’t know how to read the language, and just randomly picked a book. The scene in question is only in the animation, but they have looked over the manga as well, and have ceased sale of questionable content in manga volumes where battles were depicted around mosques. They have also stopped sale of the DVDs in question as well.
