In The Wild: Mega Man Wants To Sell You A Cell Phone

Did you hear? Mega man is now selling cell phones! Ah the beauties of living in a country where intellectual property is so rarely enforced. I spotted this little treasure in a mall’s cell phone kiosk earlier this week, this cute little rip-off is calling himself kit-boy and would like to tell you about unlimited data cell phone plans. Dr. Light must be running short on money as he’s apparently pawned off Mega man’s I mean Kit-boy’s blaster.

it doesn’t only sell you a phone: it sends you to the movies!
what it surprises me is that a big name company is doing this xD. And people are so concerned about the time the IMSS logo was plagiarized by some chinese security company…
whoops, seems it is a distributor who is doing this, not the company itself. We need more sexy characters rip-offs then :D
booths usually are… i once designed an ad for one of them… no relation to ‘radiomovil dipsa’ at all o.o
did use the logo tho… (wich i can se blurred in meg- i mean kit-boy’s chest)
ho-lee shit xD
shameless.. completely shameless.. an obscure character maybe… that’s wrong too.. but at least its obscure…
but megaman?
hey.. luiji sports some green and blue right?
could he be Movistar’s future Spokescharacter?
i love teh call button on the helmet.
60 minutes for calls and 5 text messages??? What kind of bullshit plan is that… And I thought cell phone companies here were pure shit. You guys have it way worse.
You get 4 numbers to call free to all you want and unlimited data. Considering it has unlimited data it’s not a bad plan at all.
this is actually more of an mobile internet plan with some extra cell phone kicks, thats why the expensive price, and also, i think that Velcor should post the flyer to that lousy convention he talked to us about Nahu, the one with Alf dresses as a Saiyan and shooting corporate logos from his mouth
Aaaaactually… you do get charged for talk time…
but get 60 free minutes before the counter starts… after that you start getting charged… and yes only 4 free SMS.. after that they cost…
and the 4 free numbers come with a ’small print’… that is.. the first 5 minutes of talk time are free always to the numbers, after that you get charged standard fees…
however.. you can opt to change ‘talk time’ for ‘texting’.. that one is free and truly unlimited…
i have a similar calling plan with them, but no data plan… and opted for the texting… i pay about 20 dlls a month and unlimited texting to 10 numbers of my choice :D
I’m looking into getting the Motorola Dext with an unlimited data plan but the cellphone is kinda expensive D:
i Wanted The Omnia, or if i had the money the HTC-HD2…
i like pocket PC phones :D
havent really gotten the chance to play around with them android phones…
alas, out of my budget… so no dancy phone with data plan for me…
…yet
