In the future you can expect to see armies of mechwarriors being piloted by mice. Princeton University neuroscientist, David Tank is training mice to navigate a rudimentary maze using Quake 2’s game engine for the purpose of studying individual neurons as they travel in the brain.

The real question is, when can I expect these little guys to appear in multiplayer?

A year ago, Odex, an anime licenser/distributor in Singapore sent cease and desist orders to users, and even had Internet company Comcast involved. [original post] The courts slapped them on the wrist saying that they cannot take someone to court because they do not own the original copyright. They then appealed to 5 major animation companies in Japan, and they decided to step forward. Showgate, Geneon Entertainment, TV Tokyo, GDH, and Sunrise have all stepped forward to help, they have sent letters to 4 persons to make them stop. The 4 have all refused to settle out of court.

International company Odex who licenses anime and distributes it. (check the Wiki for more info) Best known for its attacks on all people who download anime, and other videos with the use of torrents, has been pretty out of the news, and under the radar, until recently, where they have been lashing out all over the world on people citing that they have received a complaint from the copyright holder, even if it isn’t copyrighted anywhere outside of japan.

Comcast, who has been working long and hard on finding a way to shoot all torrenters on sight, for “taking up way to much bandwidth” Which got them in trouble earlier, well now they have teamed up with Odex, letting them send letters in the guise of the comcast company, sending cease and desist orders to its users, and websites.

UPDATE: according to the site linked below, that this was a mistake? by BayTSP, which i need to do my research a bit more because that name is new to me. so expect this to be covered up quite fast. but always stay alert! You may not think so, but Downloading anime, well…technically illegal. Keep on your toes! Ill be sure to keep you updated with the latest on piracy issues.
