Portuguese gaming magazine Maxi Comforted reveals the highly anticipated NIGHTS game screens for the Nintendo Wii. As we can see, the graphics as well as the levels are almost as colorful and vivid like the Saturn version. Again, with the opportunity of 2 players simultaneously, Sega says it will have and on-line mode, new characters and a new set of movements with the aid of the Wiimote.

We’ve seen that the Nights game is awesome, doesn’t matter if the graphics are not top-notch. It all depends on the control and maneuverability. I really hope this game is nicely made and, hey. . . maybe we get another Christmas Nights. That would be shweet!

At last, our dreams come true! Blizzard is slated to release a brand new RTS based on WoW, preceding the world as we now know it. The game is to take place during the third great war that tore the world asunder, and involves hero units in the same sense as you can build up your character in WoW! If you’ve ever wanted to create your very own town in Azeroth, now is your chance, along with the ability to create buildings based off of the same towns as in WoW, you’ll also apparently be able to make hundreds of units like dwarfs, night elves, and orcs and take them into epic battles the scale of which I, personally, have only seen in the biggest of Raids.
And my favorite part, as an aside to the fans, blizzard has even decided to put special extras in as well, such as this Awesome Concert from one of the more Ghastly Denizens of Azeroth.

Going back on the Hare Hare Yukai from earlier, although this one is much less…manly… it nonetheless still retains its awesomeness. Ever wondered what would happen if the guys from Karateka were Aliens, Ghosts, or ESPers? well apparently they too, would dance…
Never underestimate the power of an otaku with sprites…
I don’t think I should write much on this and just post the video, mostly because speculation when it comes to these cryptic trailers tends to be for naught. In the same fashion as Kingdom Hearts 1 had a secret ending preluding to the next game in it’s final mix ending… so now does Kingdom Hearts 2 have its own secret. View the trailer and let the fanboy speculation begin.
~WARNING~ definite spoilers ahead…
Its a sad fact that the most hardcore Otaku in Japan will never get to enjoy the various pleasures of the carnal realm (get laid) with anything that isn’t made of latex. So what is the community to do in case these fragile creatures find themselves in front of a willing female? They wouldn’t even know what’s what or what to do! So how do we teach them? Well with a hentai game, of course!
Welcome to Otaku sex ed, the last frontier!
The name of the game evaded my search efforts, anyone who knows, do enlighten us in the comments!
Its finally here, the trailer for Grand Theft Auto IV and the mystery behind it begins to clear. The game, rumored to take place in a London based city for a long time does not. So where are we going Hooker hunting come October? Well we’re going back to Liberty City! The City made famous in GT3 so many years ago is back and looking better than ever. Whatever game engine this is, it definitely wont be running on the Wii.
Very few things are revealed during the trailer, its Liberty City but bigger, the main character seems to be a Russian criminal who, like all GTA anti-heroes before, comes to Liberty City to start fresh. Graphics aside, the level of detail in the city is amazing and there are finally crowds of people all over the place, you know, like a real city. As an odd detail though, there seems to be a hell of a lot more women than men in Liberty City, go ahead check for yourselves.
A better version of the trailer at Rockstar’s official site. We will slowly learn more details about the game as it nears its October 16 launch on both the PS3 and the Xbox 360. Now bring me some Vodka, we celebrate now, yes?
Microsoft has announced that their on line media server XBox Live, will start distributing ADV produced, and released anime, saying that ADV is the largest distributor (legal) in America. No word on when this one will start, it will also start alongside Warner Brothers movies, and various Television shows, and Internet clips from totalvid.com

Sony is Fully denying all rumors about a new PS3 model with an 80Gb hard drive, but with FCC filings to gain permission to change the functionality and tweak the system’s BlueTooth hardware. Which then leads to the rumor, there is a 80Gb model currently listed for PS3 Models (which in this case i can’t find any listings on any official sites). But with the new XBox 360 Elite version officially announced yesterday, there might be some ideas flying around at Sony, nothing can be confirmed at this moment, but nothing is officially denied, stay tuned.

Not too long ago, the folks over at Dell Computers had an idea, they decided to let the public decide on what changes needed to be done, well, they got an answer.
70% of people wanted Dell to change over to Linux.
Yeah, I can tell who voted in that one. Now Dell will start putting Linux on all its computers it ships out, which eventually might make it cheaper, since Linux is free, and Windows isn’t. It might be a while though for all the support and staff to be “Linux Compatible” for this event

Recent technology is amazing, the downloads are fast, and browsing, even faster. Well, compared to the good Ole dial up from yester-year. But now something comes and shatters all you knew about the Internet and speed. The record for largest amounts of data on a single optical line: 25.6 Tbps, yes, TERABYTES. set by Alcatel-Lucent
This is currently the world record, and the previous was 14Tbps. Now in case you were wondering, and I’m sure many of you would like to see the sheer awesome in this. here’s an example: You could send over 600 DVDs worth of information, in ONE SECOND, yeah, hardcore, i know. Just need something like that in my house, I’d be set for life.

Microsoft, in a stunning, and glove removing (and face slapping, in a loony tunes kinda way) statement, said this:
“We don’t feel like the Wii customer and the Xbox customer are the same thing.
We think that as soon as the Wii customer turns 14 they want something else.”
Which, after their release of the Elite version of the Xbox maybe the excitement got into their heads, since, you know there seems to be no Wii’s ANYWHERE in stores.

At last, after a small delay, the trailer for the third Hellsing OVA episode is here.
For Hellsing conosieurs, this episode will feature Alucard’s trip to Brazil and the beginning of the Nazi undead attack on London. The battles and key story scenes in this part of the story are so epic they hurt. So far the trailer doesn’t seem to equal those qualities in motion, hopefully the final product will be better. Good news is we only need to wait 8 days until its released in Japan on April 4 and thus only some extra days for a fansub. Bitching.
Continuing on Kingdom Hearts Fame, we look now on the newly released Kingdom Hearts Complete Soundtrack, and when I say complete, I MEAN complete. The entire soundtrack encompasses the entirety of the Kingdom Hearts universe, with 9 Cd’s of OST goodness. The Cd’s include every musical piece from Kingdom Hearts, the Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, the soundtrack to Kingdom Hearts 2, with about 4 extra songs, the newly re-done Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of memories, and also includes extra songs from the new Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix. All in all, a huge collection of music, although its a bit on the steep side, 15,000 yen, or about $128, definitely a must buy for any Kingdom Hearts fanatic.
How do you explain what being an Otaku is all about in under 30 minutes? Better yet, how do you explain it to someone who is completely out of the loop? Well you’ll need an Otaku crash course like the one Jpop Idol Shoko Nakagawa a.k.a. Shoko-tan did for a new TV show called Private Lesson.
Her presentation is absolutely delightful, she’s the perfect bridge between the normal world and the Otaku subculture, she tells it like it is. During the show Shoko-tan manages to explain from the correct spelling of the word Otaku to the different levels of Fujoshi and Otaku taxonomy. All while refreshingly authentic, no fake moe idol crap.
The final two videos after the jump, definitely check them out if you want to see Shoko-tan cosplay and act a whole evangelion scene using her cat as both an angel and an Eva.

Those of you that can remember back to the golden yester-years of gaming, back when Mortal Kombat had green blood and Mario had made his first RPG. You can surely remember the long-standing rivalry between Sega and its hedgehog, Sonic, and Nintendo’s good old Italian plumber, Mario. Now, with Sega becoming a software-only company, they’ve apparently put their old differences aside to make a single game where both plumber and hyper-sonic hedgehog, can live in peace. The game, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, is no doubt inspired by the upcoming Beijing Olympic Games, and in fact has games associated directly with said Olympics. This could end up being one of the most popular games of all time, combining the lovable characters of Mario and Sonic, plus all their supporting cast, and throwing them into a Wii Sports-like environment could spell BIG bucks for both companies
Here’s hoping there’s an Olympic boxing game, so we can finally pit the two greatest rivals against each other in a huge punch-fest. Hey, it may not be a Mugen, but it sure would be fun.
