Imagine this. Hamtaro going through a dark, trap-filled dungeon, in a quest for . . . I don’t really know! But I don’t care because this hamster puts all the others to shame with his/her mad dungeon-scrolling skills!
What was that pause-to-clean-myself thing? some sort of “ZA WARUDO”?
I once had a hamster. . . but was an ungrateful bitch and left me for the neighbor’s cat. . .wait a sec-…shit.

Instead of posting something along a theme, today I’ll just upload random cosplays. Here goes…
Eureka seveN: Anemone
No strawberry jam D:
There’s an english trailer (as if it had that much text) and new screenshots of Super Smash Brother Brawl are up in the official site for the game. Also a new message from Sakurai. Hooray!
I was somewhat disappointed when Velcro bought Twilight Princess, not only because we had no Wii and could only stare at the box, but because there was no swag to accompany the game. It was breaking a long tradition of playing a new Zelda.

Well it appears someone misplaced our swag because its being given away on the Twilight Princess soundtrack. The box, besides coming at a $39.99 price tag, includes a small replica of the master sword and Hylian shield.
My guess is you are supposed to do a representation of the Miyamoto Link impersonation with it.

As Otaku culture continues to permeate the west we continue to see it in mainstream media more often. Such as the New York Times, which has profiled CLAMP on their website. The article delves into the different styles CLAMP uses in their works as well as their relevance as female authors in the manga business.
It also shows that being girls, they have an advantage in reaching the female audience:
“It’s common in girls’ manga for a character to transform, as Sailor Moon does, and we wanted to incorporate that into ‘Sakura,’ ” Ms. Ohkawa said. “But many of them always wear the same outfit, so we wanted to add a twist. We feel it’s pretty sad for a girl to wear the same outfit all the time.”
I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with CLAMP and my girlfriend loving everything this troup of deviants put out only fuels the fire, but I’m still here, posting this. Go read.

Oops. My bad. In last post I said that Parody wasn’t part of Street Fighter’s wide gamma of “stuff” there was for it, but how could I forget Jackie Chan’s performance in the movie City Hunter?
I still say we need more high quality parodies, it’s never enough.
{Thanks Me}

Thanks to College humor for exploiting one of the very few untouched areas where Street Fighter hasn’t gone (at least not consciously. . .), and that’s Comical Parody.
Street Fighter: The Later years tells the story of your favorite characters in “The Real World”:
Now, Episode 2
I hope the plot gets even better.

It’s Retro Video Time! Those small MB-sized videogames games that always left something in your heart when you played them as a kid, and thought they were the best thing ever after Sliced Bread. . . And that are still cool today!
The one that I want to open this section with is Sonic. That super saiyan hedgehog that made a lot of us AWE with not just his 1st, but his 2nd transformation; he had his own comic-book and I still have some old old oooold volumes (which I might post about later, who knows?).
Now this scene is and will be one, if not THE favorite [Hero x Villain] moment of all console games. It has an excellent scenario (OUTER SPACE, Dammit!), Great Music (I still want this song as Power Metal . . .anyone?), Dr. Robotnik, a fearful Super-Scientist type Villain, and Sonic, our hero. . . who transforms to HYPER Sonic after getting the greatest challenge in the game: Getting the 7 Chaos Emeralds And the 7 [new]Chaos Diamonds.
So without further ado. . .The Scene.
I wonder if Akira Toriyama made a complaint about Sonic’s Super-Saiyan-ness. . .

I’m no mecha or airplane freak myself, but this anime really gave me something interesting, well-drawn, and action-packed to watch this last month. See for yourself!

Sentou Yuusei Yukikaze - an Overall Review -
Seems like the whole lot of PS3 resellers on eBay are getting pretty desperate in getting you to shell out your hard earned cash.

A large number of exposed bosoms and even a goth and a gothic lolita (my favorites)to get your attention. Well they’ve got my attention, but not my money. A lot more pictures at Random Routine.
PS: This, once again, proves that cosplay can sell anything, even in America!
Ho Hum! While I am still battling with the technologic powers that be, trying to bring back my computer from the underworld, the show goes on here at Dark Diamond. And i know you are anxiously awaiting this weekend’s Otaku Music Bit. So here it is, this week I handpicked for you a classic of our times, Duvet from Serial Experiments Lain. The opening to one of the best mindfuck series out there.
Alright, to get you in the mood here’s the original as sung by boa.
Now here’s a live version that looks like it was taken with a cameraphone.
And as a little bonus for you guys here’s Duvet as sung by a cute guitar player on YouTube. Can you say moe?
Guess Ill go back to my hardware filled room, maybe thats why I felt like posting something about Lain. I want Lain to fix my computer!
Hi guys, updating might be somewhat slow for the next few days. You see, my computer died. I’m still in the process of determining exactly what happened, so far it seems like my old video card is the culprit. So I’m using a secondary box in the meanwhile, its a really outdated machine but ill try to do my best. Wish me luck!

Oh my, these characters make me all feel kinda fuzzy on the inside (or maybe it’s the fact that I just woke up and started to eat chocolate infested cookies, who knows?). A new Sim game for the Wii, with pretty cute characters:
I found EA at the end. . . that’s never good.

Some weeks before I put some video about the new jiggly-wiggly DOA Xtreme 2 for the Xbox360, arguing about its missing plot, substance, and real body physics. This video helps my opinion very much.
I mean. . .What are we gonna teach kids now that they have explicit sex right at the corner? Typing? Knitting? Quantum physics at age 14?

There was a time when here at Dark Diamond HQ we felt privileged and spoiled by being able to play games on a nice projector. Hell, even playing tetris on a 2.5 meter screen is awesome. We where kings of the world.
Now we feel like lowly peasants.
The guys at SPOnG somehow managed to play Gears of War on a freaking huge IMAX screen. Thats a 20 meter high screen. In fact, an IMAX screen has the exact same size as my house’s terrain. A screen the size of my house!
Also, it had a state of the art dolby surround 5.1 system, you know, the cherry on top.
